Bibimbap
This staple Korean dish (think the equivalent of a burger and fries) is hugely versatile and absolutely delicious. You can make it as spicy as you want, or add protein if you want. Bibimbap is often made in a hot pot, so that the rice can get crispy on the bottom.
Ingredients
- 1 cup white rice cooked
- 1 egg
- 0.5 cup kimchi
- 0.25 cup carrot peeled, thinly sliced
- to taste sesame oil
Instructions
- Prepare your desired toppings, such as thinly slicing the carrot.
- In a bowl, arrange the cooked white rice. Top the rice with the egg and prepared toppings like kimchi and carrots.
- For an optional crispy rice bottom, place the cooked rice in a sesame-oiled skillet over medium-high heat and cook for about 2 minutes before topping with the egg and other ingredients.
