Perfect Pumpkin Pie
A classic American pumpkin pie made with sweetened condensed milk, spices, and baked in an unbaked pie crust. The filling is whisked until smooth and then baked until set.
Ingredients
- 1 can pumpkin
- 1 can Sweetened Condensed Milk
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 0.5 teaspoon ground ginger
- 0.5 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 0.5 teaspoon salt
- 1 9-inch unbaked pie crust
Instructions
- Heat oven to 425°F.
- Whisk pumpkin, sweetened condensed milk, eggs, spices, and salt in a medium bowl until smooth.
- Pour the mixture into the 9-inch unbaked pie crust.
- Bake for 15 minutes at 425°F.
- Reduce oven temperature to 350°F; bake an additional 35 to 40 minutes or until a knife inserted 1-inch from crust comes out clean.
- Cool the pie completely.
- Garnish as desired.
